[EN] "Glucose Confectionnerie" is an album by the Mico Nissim Trio. It was originally released in 1971 and has been re-released in various formats over the years. The album features tracks like "Albane De Lune," "Dzingarella," "Groucho Marx," and "Glucose Confectionnerie N° 1," among others, showcasing a style of music described as Free Jazz. Mico Nissim is a self-taught jazz pianist and composer, born in 1947. After pursuing engineering studies, he decided to fully dedicate himself to music. Since his debut in 1974, he has played and recorded with some of the best French jazz musicians, including a stint with Claude Barthélémy's National Jazz Orchestra (1989-1991). Since then, he has led numerous creations in the jazz genre, including his latest project with the Leonis String Quartet. Concurrently, he has accompanied numerous singers such as Sacha Distel, Brigitte Fontaine, Nilda Fernandez, and Allain Leprest. He has also extensively written for theater productions at venues like Chaillot, Festival d’Automne, and Théâtre de l’Aquarium.

As a respected composer for wind ensembles, he has composed for groups like Musique de l’Air, Eutépé, Just’à 5, and the Fanfare Le Snob. Additionally, he has fulfilled numerous commissions for orchestral music, particularly for Harmony Orchestras. To date, he has recorded 11 albums, both vinyl and CD, under his own name. His latest release, "Traces piano solo," came out in 2020, and his upcoming work will focus on his piano concerto with orchestra. From 1998 to 2017, he served as a piano and Jazz Ensemble professor at the St Cloud Conservatory. Finally, in 1999, Mico Nissim founded "Le Vent Se Lève," an amateur and unconventional Harmony Orchestra based in Cergy (95).

Mico Nissim est un pianiste de Jazz et un compositeur autodidacte, né en 1947. Après des études d’ingénieur, il décide de se consacrer pleinement à la Musique. Depuis ses débuts en 1974, il a joué et enregistré avec les meilleurs musiciens de Jazz français avec une étape au sein de l’Orchestre National de Jazz de Claude Barthélémy (1989-1991). Depuis, il a mené de nombreuses créations autour du Jazz dont la dernière avec le Quatuor à cordes Leonis. Parallèlement il a accompagné de nombreux chanteurs dont Sacha Distel, Brigitte Fontaine, Nilda Fernandez et Allain Leprest. Il a aussi beaucoup écrit pour le théâtre (Chaillot, Festival d’Automne, Théâtre de l’Aquarium etc) Compositeur apprécié des ensembles à vent, il a écrit notamment pour la Musique de l’Air, Eutépé, Just’à 5, la Fanfare Le Snob, et a répondu à d’innombrables commandes de Musique pour orchestre, notamment pour Orchestres d’HarmonieIl a enregistré à ce jour 11 vinyls ou CD sous son nom. Le dernier en date Traces piano solo est sorti en 2020. Le prochain sera consacré à son concerto pour piano et orchestre. Il a été professeur de piano et d’Ensemble Jazz au Conservatoire de St Cloud (1998- 2017) Enfin Mico Nissim a créé en 1999 à Cergy (95) Le Vent Se Lève, orchestre d’Harmonie amateur et atypique.
