[EN] In the Trio Passeurs, Véronique Magdelenat is supported by two seasoned musicians who have never lost sight of the African-American heritage, which hasn't prevented them from "fulfilling themselves." Deliberately fragmented speech, sometimes hesitant, at times repetitive, with brief sentences, and occasionally developed almost reluctantly – here is a musician in search of an original path/voice, and that deserves to be underscored and, above all, heard.

[FR] Véronique Magdelenat est épaulée, dans le Trio Passeurs, par deux musiciens chevronnés qui n’ont jamais perdu de vue l’héritage afro-américain, ce qui ne les a pas empêché de “se réaliser“. Discours volontairement haché, parfois hésitant, parfois répétitif, aux phrases brèves, parfois développé presque du “bout des lèvres“, voilà une musicienne à la recherche d’une voie/voix originale, et cela mérite d’être souligné, et entendu surtout.
